The definitive tight 3 needle grouping. This grouping, made with three long taper #10 needles pulled very tight, nearly mimics a single when used with a light hand and grey wash. More importantly, it puts in incredibly clean lines and resists blow outs that often plague tight, and small needle groupings. This is not just my opinion and experience, but also shared with others who have used them with great occasion. Its amazing to use such a delicate needle and not sweat every line, anxious of blow outs. They also allow the user to end lines with perfectly diminishing weight by adjusting the needle depth. Amazing for delicate script, these also work great for those of you who like to do shading with really small needle groupings. These are absolutely THE BEST super tight grouped threes made.
Following the same amazing characteristics as the 3, we added another long taper needle resulting in little more line weight. The 4 gives an amazing line for small, tight illustrative type work and detail on larger pieces where our HT3 might be too thin. These are a great compliment to our Straight 7 liners for the detail work within a piece.
The largest of the Hella Tite series, but still hella tight. These work remarkably well for tight, illustrative work, giving the user the ability to change the line weight by adjusting the depth, resulting in unparalleled control. These are our favorite go to needle for smaller, illustrative and figurative work, giving enough line weight to carry visual power but not rendering the drawing too clunky. These also have the great ability to vary in weight with adjusted needles depth. Pair with our Hella Tite 3 for those small, illustrative pieces, or beautiful script.
